NCC

The National Cadet Corps is a voluntary organization of the Indian Military Cadet Corps and recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps.

NCC aims to develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them responsible citizens.

Training given to the cadets includes drill, shooting, physical fitness, map reading, first aid, gliding/flying, sailing and camp training.

Enrollment: Our school has Air NCC associated with No. 4 PB AIR SQN NCC. 100 cadets are enrolled every year from classes 8th and 9th including girls and boys.

Training Classes:Two weekly training classes are held for the cadets in the school campus.

Activities of Air NCC

  • Foot Drills
    Practical training classes and basic foot drills training.
  • Theory classes
    Airmenship, Aeromodelling, Principles of Flight, Aero Engines, Air Frame.
  • Foot Drills: CATC
    Combined Annual Training Camp: This camp is compulsory for every cadet to attend. This is ten days camp held outside school and organized by No. 4 Pb Air Sqn NCC under the supervision and guidelines of wing commander of NCC unit. Cadets are awarded C-ATC camp certificate after the successful completion of the camp.

NCC cadets of the school also actively participate in the social service activities such as tree plantation, blood donation, anti dowry rallies, anti female infanticide pledge, anti leprosy drive, aids awareness rally, visit to the old age homes, slum clearance and disaster management and relief.
