His Excellency Most Rev.Franco Mulakkal, the very venerable patron of our school
was appointed as the Bishop of Jalandhar Diocese on June 13, 2013 by Pope Francis.
He succeeded Rt. Rev Bishop Anil Joseph Thomas Couto on August 4, 2013. He is also
the Secretary of Regional Bishops Conference of North, India and Consultor for Pontifical
Council for Inter-religious Dialogue, Rome.
Most Rev. Bishop Franco Mulakkal’s motto "So that in everything God may be glorified"
is reflected in each of his endeavours. He has contributed a lot to bring about
peace, harmony and religious tolerance in the state of Punjab. He is a pioneer in
spreading health care education among the masses. His selfless services to uplift
the downtrodden are commendable. He is socially interactive and works tirelessly
to reach out and help everyone irrespective of their backgrounds.
An exemplary figure of calm and poise and an epitome of self-discipline, diligence,
sublime sagacity and righteousness- our beloved patron- renders to us his valuable
and matchless support and guidance. His Excellency prompts us to make phenomenal
progress and pats us invariably on our achievements. He is a pioneer who with his
missionary zeal motivates us to traverse the terrain of excellence.
Rev. Fr. George Edayal, our present director took charge of his responsibilities on
2nd June, 2022. Rev. Father’s exemplary dynamism and vision has enabled the school
to attain excellence in all fields. With his strong character, self-discipline and
justice he influences and inspires many a mind. Rev.Fr. George Edayal administers
the external functions of the school in regard to matters such as building, property,
admission and the likes. His contribution to the mission and cause has been immense.
He has incorporated many a welcome changes in the administration as well as the
infrastructure in the school for the great benefit of the staff and students. His
deep commitment towards the school serves as an impetus for its improvement.
The history of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, Ludhiana witnessed yet another landmark when Rev. Sister Silvi took over as the new principal of the school on 1st June, 2016. Rev. Sister Silvi is an immensely versatile and dynamic personality who carries with her 30 years of teaching and over 10 years of administrative experience as the Principal of various schools run by the Jalandhar Diocese. Rev. Sr. Principal is a tall and towering example of wisdom, devotion, diligence and discipline. Her unwavering determination to enable the school scale greater and larger heights of excellence is a profound source of inspiration for both the teachers and the taught.
Paramount results are achieved only when dedicated, goal-oriented and relentless endeavours are put in
by a devoted team of visionaries. Sheltered under the protective and matchless mentorship o
f Rev. Fr. George Edayal, and Rev. Sr. Silvi, we feel secure and confident to excel. Their committed alliance undoubtedly will continue to produce outstanding results and the growth chart evinces a brighter and promising future of the school under their very able guidance and expertise.
